Endorsements

Overview

As the holder of a US pilot license, you need additional certifications for various types of airplanes called endorsements.

Here is a partial list of aircraft for which you must obtain endorsements:

Complex Aircraft Endorsements

High Performance Endorsement for aircraft over 200hp

High Altitude Endorsement for pressurized cabin aircraft and aircraft with service ceilings over
25,000 feet MSL

Tailwheel Endorsement for aircraft with tailwheels

Aerobatic Flight Endorsement
