->Costs for practical instruction

These calculations are based on minimum requirements in accordance to FAR Part 61. We assume the following:

->Cheapest available IFR trainer – such as the Piper Warrior II PA28
->Required minimum 40 hours for CFR Part 61.65
 

Prices may vary if you choose a different aircraft, or if you have different personal needs and/or requirements.

->5 hours ground school with instructor $222.50
->3rd Class Medical (with St. Augustine AME) $100.00

->Examiner's fee and practical exam $400.00
->TSA fees and background check
Non US Citizens only 		$130.00
